When we shot the Bake Shop Scene it clearly lacked customers! In a pinch Gary’s neighbours pitched in as tourists and among them was Vernon Porter, a renowned bass player who has played with a stunning list of “Greats.” Vernon is on the board of the charity founded by TJ George that provides financial support to youth struggling to recover from addiction. They have recorded one great album and are offering it in return for a donation to DEMANDIMPACT.

Vernon Porter
Vernon Porter is a bassist who grew up in Columbus, Ohio. His band, Liaja became one of the most popular bands in Columbus during its time. Vernon has toured and recorded with musical acts such as Full Moon (also known as the Larsen-Feiten Band) and Kenny Loggins. Vernon was also involved in a group called Above the Clouds, who opened for performers like Larry Graham and the Brothers Johnson.
